The apps

Every step of the trip, on both phones.

Passengers book, pay and watch the car arrive. Drivers get the job, find the pickup and get paid. Each step reaches the other app, and your office, as it happens.

  1. 1 Booking

Choosing a ride: a Saloon for £18.40, an Estate for £19.80 or a People carrier for £27.60, each with how far away it is.

Passenger Picks a car and sees the price before booking.

A job offer: £94.20 by card, four minutes to the pickup, Chichester Station to Gatwick, with a countdown and an Accept button.

Driver Gets the job with the fare and where to, and a countdown to accept it.

  2. 2 On the way

The driver on the way: the car on the map, four minutes away, with the driver's name, car and number plate.

Passenger Watches the car on the map, with the driver's name, car and number plate.

Heading to the pickup: the route, the passenger's note, directions and an “I've arrived” button.

Driver Follows the route, or hands over to Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps.

  3. 3 Outside

“Dee is here”: what car to look for, and its number plate.

Passenger Hears the car's outside, and which car to look for.

At the pickup, waiting for the passenger, with a “Passenger on board” button.

Driver Waits, and can ring the passenger with their own number withheld.

  4. 4 In the car

In the car: the trip on the map, on the way to Chichester Station.

Passenger Follows the trip all the way.

On the way to the destination with the passenger, with directions and a “Complete trip” button.

Driver Drives there, then completes the trip.

  5. 5 Paid

Arrived: £19.80 paid by Visa, and a choice of tips for the driver.

Passenger Gets a receipt, and can tip the driver on card trips.

The trip done: collect £16.40 in cash, then tap to say it's collected.

Driver Collects cash on cash trips. Card and account fares need nothing.

Your money

Card fares go straight into your own Stripe account.

And your passengers, bookings and drivers stay yours: every firm gets its own copy of the system, not a corner of a shared one.

Features

Cash, cards, accounts, airport runs and phone bookings.

The way local firms really work, from the regulars on account to the jobs that still come in by phone. All of it in one system, with your rate card behind every price.

Questions

Before you ask.

Will the apps really be in our name?
Yes. They're published from your own Apple Developer and Google Play accounts, so your firm is the name on the App Store and Google Play. Apple asks for a D-U-N-S number for a company account, so it's worth applying for one early.
Can we still take bookings by phone?
Yes. Your office finds the caller by their phone number, gets a price and books the job. Card payers get a link by text to pay, so card details are never read out over the phone.
Our fares are set by the council. Will it cope?
Yes. Your rate card can match the council's table of fares, with its night, Sunday and bank holiday tariffs, and fare rises can be set to start on the day they're due. Prices are worked out on the server, never in the apps.
Where does the card money go?
Straight into your own Stripe account. Passengers can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and you can refund all or part of a payment from the job.
What about passengers who don't use the app?
They still hear from you by text: the booking, the driver on the way and the driver outside. Everyone with a booking for later gets a reminder an hour before.
How do drivers get started?
Your office adds them, with their badge, licence and car. Then they sign in to the driver app with their mobile number and a code by text. There's no public sign-up.
